We are seeking a dynamic sales leader for our client, a fast-growing, owner-managed retail company specializing in real assets & financial investments. This role is for an individual who not only manages teams but builds entire sales systems.

Our client boasts a strong and recognized brand, a large customer base, modern digital marketing channels, and enormous lead potential. What's needed now is someone to transform this into a scalable, data-driven sales system and to actively participate on the front lines of sales.

About the Role

This is not a role for those who prefer to inherit existing structures. The focus is on elevating a young sales team to the next level by separating inbound and outbound processes, creating clear procedures, professionalizing sales conversations, and driving predictable revenue growth from a substantial lead base. You will have direct influence on the entire sales department's development, working closely with the team, marketing, and management.

What Makes This Role Special...

There is no shortage of leads. The company has a proprietary customer and contact base of approximately 280,000 contacts, including website visitors, cart abandoners, existing customers, and prospects with concrete purchase interest. The challenge lies in identifying the right potentials, systematically increasing lead quality, and building outbound sales into a repeatable, scalable revenue system.

Customer segments vary significantly, from individual customers with a purchase volume of €200,000 to those investing smaller amounts monthly. This requires clean segmentation, tailored conversation strategies, and a team that acts confidently, reliably, and closing-oriented depending on the customer type.

Responsibilities

  • Take operational and strategic responsibility for a current four-person sales team (two inbound, two outbound).
  • Build upon the team's existing strengths (some strong individual performers) through clear leadership, improved processes, consistent coaching, and a performance understanding focused on numbers, quality, and closures.
  • Work on-site closely with the team, marketing, and management, having direct influence on the entire sales area's advancement.
  • Develop the sales function practically by clearly structuring inbound and outbound, sharpening responsibilities, and transforming the existing team into a true performance unit.
  • Develop scalable sales processes, from lead prioritization and conversation guides to CRM workflows, KPI dashboards, and reporting structures. Professionalize conversational approaches from their current individualistic style into a measurable and trainable system.
  • Coach your team closely in daily operations, listen in on calls, provide direct feedback, develop training formats, and ensure junior profiles become reliable sales professionals.
  • Continuously optimize lead quality, working closely with marketing and management to generate better sales opportunities from website traffic, existing customers, cart abandoners, and other data sources.
  • Be sales-strong yourself; regularly engage in sales calls, close deals, and demonstrate excellent sales techniques to your team.

Qualifications

What You Should Bring...

  • Proven experience in leading sales teams and a track record of building or scaling sales structures, not just managing them.
  • Crucially, experience in Outbound Sales. You understand how to develop real sales opportunities from existing leads, customer data, and contact lists. You know which KPIs matter, how to measure conversation quality, and how to lead a team daily on activity, pipeline, conversion, and closing strength.
  • Strong IT, CRM, and process affinity. You are proficient with tools, dashboards, telephony systems, automation, and ideally AI-supported approaches as levers for better sales.
  • You are analytical enough for data-driven management and sales-oriented enough to genuinely improve people's conversational skills.
  • You lead clearly, directly, and performance-oriented, without losing sight of development, motivation, and team dynamics.
  • Experience in selling financial products, real assets, premium products, or comparable advisory-intensive offerings is a plus.
  • Optional: Experience with webinar, online event, or community-driven sales is also an advantage.
  • You must be willing to work on-site with the sales team and management. Candidates from the Schwarzwald region (Freiburg-Konstanz-Tübingen triangle) or those willing to relocate are sought.
