Vice President of Marketing

Overview of the Role

Guidepost Global Education is seeking an experienced marketing leader to drive our strategy, voice, and market presence during a period of significant growth. As Vice President of Marketing, you will oversee brand stewardship, enrollment and growth marketing, external communications, and the design of experiences that connect prospective families, partners, and communities to our mission. You will serve as the strategic lead for external engagement, working closely with school leaders, enrollment teams, and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure all touchpoints reflect our values, build trust, and support growth.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Brand Strategy and Organizational Voice: Develop and steward a cohesive brand strategy consistent across all channels, audiences, and markets, ensuring external communications align with our values and educational philosophy.
  • Enrollment and Growth Marketing: Design and lead marketing strategies to drive family awareness, inquiry, and enrollment. Utilize data and research to identify market opportunities and optimize campaigns.
  • Content, Communication, and Channel Management: Own the strategy and quality of all external communications, including digital, social, paid, print, and event channels, ensuring consistency and responsiveness to market needs.
  • Operations and Program Oversight: Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing programs, maintaining clear systems, budgets, and calendars. Oversee relationships with external agencies and vendors.
  • Cross-Functional and External Collaboration: Partner with school leaders, regional teams, enrollment staff, and external partners to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with real-world needs and organizational goals. Represent the organization externally and develop corporate partnerships.
  • Team Leadership and Capacity Building: Lead and support a growing team of marketing professionals, providing coaching and fostering a culture of strategic creativity and data-informed decision-making.

  • Strong background in enrollment/consumer marketing and organizational communications.
  • Exceptional collaboration and project management skills.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels.

  • Experience leading teams and managing marketing operations at scale.
