About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing sophisticated software applications and systems. This is a hybrid role, with a preference for working in our hub offices (Fort Mill, SC / Charlotte, NC; Denver, CO; Minneapolis, MN) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Remote work is also an option for candidates outside these hubs.

What You'll Do:

• Lead end-to-end design, development, and implementation of software applications.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to gather requirements and create technical solutions.
• Write high-quality, efficient, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Debug, analyze, and resolve complex software defects and performance issues.
• Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, performance).
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Perform thorough code reviews.
• Continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

What We're Looking For:
Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on large-scale applications.
• 5+ years of expert-level experience with TypeScript and hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming languages (NodeJS, Golang, or Ruby).
• 3+ years of experience with backend frameworks (Express, Ruby-on-Rails), relational databases (SQL, Postgres), ORMs (Prisma, Sequelize, TypeORM), and working knowledge of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deep understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience with software testing.
• Experience using AI for code generation.

Preferred:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Previous experience with healthcare regulations and compliance.
• Full-stack programming experience with modern technologies (Node.js + TypeScript, Express, Postgres, REST APIs, NoSQL).
