About the Role

We are seeking a founding Machine Learning/Data Scientist to revolutionize our AI-driven hospitality tech platform. You will be the first to deeply analyze our unique datasets from Booking.com, Airbnb, and competitive pricing, transforming dormant data into actionable intelligence. Your work will directly impact revenue by enhancing our agent's decision-making and building a compounding competitive moat. This is a hands-on role where you'll ship models to production within our Django + ClickHouse stack.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Booking.com, Airbnb, and competitive data to identify key revenue drivers.
• Determine causal relationships between actions (e.g., promotions) and outcomes (e.g., bookings).
• Translate data insights into logic for our revenue-driving agent, aiming for measurable improvements.
• Shape the company's data strategy, identifying high-value tracking and enrichment opportunities.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to deploy models into our production environment.

Requirements

• Proven ability to apply statistics and experimentation to data analysis, with strong time-series expertise.
• Instinct for causal inference; ability to design experiments (A/B tests, holdouts) and reason about confounders.
• Experience wrangling dirty, sparse, and seasonal data to extract signals and build predictive features.
• Proficiency in modeling techniques such as forecasting, uplift, and causal models.
• Ability to write clean, deployable Python (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and deploy models within a Django + ClickHouse stack.
• Product-thinking mindset focused on revenue impact.
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools and an interest in self-learning ML or agentic workflows.
