Required Skills:

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Python: 7+ years of Python experience, with very high proficiency.
• Linux: Very proficient with Linux at the terminal level.
• Testing: Test-driven development (TDD) and pytest proficiency.
• Data Processing: Polars experience.
• Databases: PostgreSQL expertise, including schema design, optimization, and advanced queries.
• Code Standards: Familiarity with and adherence to PEP guidelines and Python coding standards.
• API Development: RESTful API development and design best practices.
• Architecture: Scalable architecture design for high-volume data environments.
• Security: Understanding and implementation of security practices and vulnerability prevention.
• Development Practices: Thoughtful development focused on performance, deeply optimized code, and proper code organization.
• Version Control: Git version control with branching strategies.
• Language: English fluency (written/verbal).
• International Experience: Previous experience working for a US-based company.
