The Role:

We are seeking a remote Elastic Engineer to support ECS's Army PEO C3N program. This is a hands-on technical role where you will be part of a multi-disciplined team responsible for designing, building, securing, maintaining, optimizing, and documenting multiple Elastic Stack Enterprise solutions (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, ML, SIEM) deployed globally in a Federal DoD environment. You will also support these solutions using Ansible playbooks, perform continuous data normalization, and contribute to technical deliverables like SOPs and process workflows.

Your work will directly support internal engineering personnel and external customer requirements by providing infrastructure, data pipelines, and reporting automation.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $170,000

Qualifications:

• Clearance: Minimum Top-Secret clearance required with SCI eligibility.
• Certification: Compliance with DoD 8140 / 8570 IAT Level II certification prior to start date.
• Elastic Certification: Certified Elastic Engineer or willingness to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
• Elastic Stack Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience in deployment, configuration, and solution development using the Elastic Stack for security and logging use-cases. Specific experience with Elastic SIEM is a plus.
• Full Stack Proficiency: Demonstrated experience with the full Elastic Stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats, Machine Learning, and REST API integration.
• Ansible: Demonstrated ability to utilize Ansible Playbook.
