What You Will Do

• Utilize modern software like PHP 8.4, Laravel 11, and PostgreSQL.
• Focus on building, as meetings are minimized to maximize developer productivity.
• Benefit from flexible working hours to work when you're most productive.
• Influence the product directly in a collaborative environment that avoids unnecessary bureaucracy.
• Engage with experienced team members for knowledge sharing and problem-solving.
• Commit to continuously improving the codebase, reducing legacy code, adding tests, and maintaining up-to-date practices.
• Concentrate on development, as the DevOps team handles infrastructure and automated deployments via robust pipelines (PHPStan, PHPCS, unit, integration, and end-to-end tests).
• Adhere to a philosophy of writing testable and understandable code, structuring business logic in clear PHP classes separate from the framework.
• Work within a modular monolith architecture where module interactions are managed via facades, adapters, or events, maintaining strong boundaries and modularity. Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is incorporated in intricate modules for well-structured, business-aligned logic.

Skills and Experience Needed

• Communicative English at a B2 level or higher.
• Extensive experience building scalable applications, ideally with large-scale systems like CRM, CMS, or ERP. Direct SaaS experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP 8.1+ and modern frameworks like Laravel or Symfony, with deep experience in modular monolith and layered architecture.
• Strong focus on framework-agnostic development, prioritizing clean, maintainable code that maximizes business value and minimizes dependencies.
• Thorough knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) and robust testing strategies, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
