Due to significant growth and ongoing client delivery success, we are seeking Associate Directors who are NEC3 and NEC4 accredited Project Managers to join our expanding team. We are looking for high-calibre leaders to support our clients in delivering a wide range of high-profile infrastructure projects, acting as industry leaders and mentoring the next generation of Project Managers. Your Role:
As a member of our growing team, you will help deliver a diverse range of complex projects and programmes for our clients. This role is based in our London office, with time likely spent with colleagues and client teams across the South-East region. Associate Directors at Turner & Townsend work on business initiatives and lead projects/programmes across public and private sectors, including Aviation, Highways, Rail, Environment, and Utilities. We are seeking individuals with the following attributes:
Key Attributes:
- Significant experience managing multiple disciplines, teams, advisors, and clients on infrastructure projects/programmes throughout their lifecycle, ideally across various sectors and clients. Proven success and ability to challenge/set strategy.
- Significant experience administering NEC3 and NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contracts, currently in a named Project Manager role or having concluded such a role within the last 12 months.
- Excellent leadership skills, capable of setting high standards, managing performance, and efficiently utilizing people and resources to exceed stakeholder expectations. Ability to succeed in ambiguous and challenging environments.
- Accountable for the health, safety, and wellbeing of those within your sphere of responsibility, with a practical understanding and application of CDM.
- Ability to anticipate client challenges, determine applicable solutions, and innovate sustainably, based on a deep understanding of stakeholder needs.

Qualifications:
Beneficial Experience:
- Experience with complex and multiple procurement forms and managing NEC contracts.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors on infrastructure projects/programmes in diverse environments.
- Consultancy and/or client-side project management experience.
- Familiarity with public sector organizations relevant to infrastructure.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles and their application to projects/programmes.
Preferable Qualifications:
- NEC3 or NEC4 Accredited Project Manager (essential).
- Degree in a management, construction, or infrastructure-related subject, or equivalent experience.
- Professional affiliation with APM, ICE, or equivalent.
- Project management certification (e.g., APM, PRINCE2, MSP, ChPP).
- CSCS / equivalent.
- Sustainability accreditation (e.g., Carbon Literacy).
- Safety qualifications/accreditations.
- Soft skills / leadership certification.
