Who You Are:

• An experienced Project Manager (3-5+ years) or Senior Project Manager (7+ years) with a strong background in delivering institutional construction projects, ideally within university/college settings.
• A leader who thrives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, possessing strong organizational and client-facing skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident in managing projects from feasibility through to closeout, balancing budget, schedule, and stakeholder expectations.
• This role requires a strong on-site presence in Guelph, ON.

Job Description: Project Manager / Senior Project Manager

As a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager, you will be instrumental in:

• Leading projects through their entire lifecycle: feasibility, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
• Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting for successful delivery.
• Coordinating and collaborating effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Leading project meetings, managing action items, documentation, and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Overseeing procurement processes, contracts, and the performance of consultants and contractors.
• Managing construction activities, including RFIs, submittals, site visits, and payment approvals.
• Monitoring and controlling change orders, risks, and issues, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Maintaining robust client relationships through clear, data-driven updates and recommendations.
• Leading project closeout, including commissioning, handover documentation, and capturing lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• Project Manager: 3–5+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Senior Project Manager: 7+ years of experience managing increasingly complex projects.
• Proven experience delivering institutional (university/college), commercial, or large-scale capital projects.
• Demonstrated experience in client-side project management environments.
• High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• PMP designation (or working towards one) is considered an asset.
• Primarily based on-site in Guelph, ON.

Salary Range:

• Project Manager: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year (base salary).
• Senior Project Manager: $105,000 - $135,000 per year (base salary).
