Job Description

As a Product Owner with CapTech, your primary focus will be on helping clients achieve results on their most complex business and technology initiatives. The role is multifaceted, requiring adaptability to perform in various IT Product Owner capacities depending on client needs. This may involve acting as a senior management advisor or driving highly visible technical projects, utilizing your planning, execution, and client relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Quickly establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders to assess and recommend optimal Agile practices and business/technical solutions.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams to achieve impactful business outcomes.
• Provide creative solutions to clients and drive the product vision, considering the downstream impacts of new feature rollouts across programs.
• Develop integrated IT project plans to establish, monitor, manage, and report key milestones and deliverables.
• Support the triage and resolution of critical project issues and scope changes throughout project phases.
• Prepare and deliver effective verbal and written communications regarding project status for internal and client teams.
• Influence at all organizational levels and assist in implementing recommended changes.
• Perform hands-on project work, including analysis, design, process engineering, and change management, as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, MIS, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 years of experience in an Agile product ownership or project/program management role, preferably with full development lifecycle experience.
• 3 years of experience with Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks.
• Experience in digital product management or agile product coaching.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing large and complex consulting engagements.
• Ability to assess user requirements, identify omissions and gaps, and design optimal solutions.
• Creative thinking and the ability to seek innovative solutions to complex technical/business problems.
• Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence.
• Experience using AI to automate repeatable processes and engineer prompts to leverage AI ethically, accelerating speed, accuracy, and quality of deliverables.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
