Job Description: Project Manager (Infrastructure)
Due to significant growth and ongoing delivery success, Turner & Townsend is looking for Project Managers to support clients in delivering a wide range of high-profile infrastructure projects. Based in our London office, you will work with colleagues and client teams across London and the South-East region. Most roles support a hybrid working pattern, balancing on-site and remote work based on client needs. You will be instrumental in delivering diverse and complex projects and programs.
Project Managers at Turner & Townsend:
We work on a broad range of projects and programs in Aviation, Roads, Rail, Telecommunications, Utilities, and more. We seek individuals with the following skills, experience, and attributes:
- Experience in infrastructure project and/or program management across the full project lifecycle, including project management principles, client objective delivery, contract management, leadership, teamwork, financial management, project controls, and HSQE management.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of building trusted advisor relationships with diverse client and partner organizations.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills with the ability to understand complex issues and develop workable solutions.
- Drive and commitment to achieving solutions, with the ability to work under pressure and motivate others.
- Effective planning, communication, and organizational skills, managing multiple workstreams and communicating with senior client representatives.
- Ability to lead, manage, and develop project teams or workstreams.
- Creative, curious, and growth mindset.
Qualifications:
Beneficial Experience:
- Experience in utilities/water infrastructure project management.
- Experience with procurement and managing NEC contracts.
- Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors on infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with public sector organizations relevant to infrastructure.
Preferable Qualifications:
- Degree or HND in a management, construction, or infrastructure-related subject, or equivalent experience.
- Professional affiliation/qualification or near-qualified status with APM, ICE, CIWEM, or similar.
- Project management certification (APM/PRINCE2/MSP).
- NEC PM Accreditations or qualifications.
