Its importance to the largest customers and its intersection with Kafka, cloud infrastructure, networking, and security ensure high visibility and influence across the company. ### What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities) * **Launch and Drive Adoption:** Lead the one-click Disaster Recovery initiative, transforming a manually configured capability into a seamless, productized experience for confident customer adoption. * **Define Real-Time Stream Sharing:** Shape the future of secure, scalable real-time stream sharing across organizations, including its security model, networking, access controls, and scalability across diverse use cases. * **Power Migration Capabilities:** Develop capabilities that enable customers to migrate to Confluent with ease, making the migration path a key differentiator for choosing Confluent. * **Segment and Re-package Cluster Linking:** Strategically define how Cluster Linking is packaged, priced, and positioned for its various applications (Disaster Recovery, migrations, data sharing, cross-cloud replication) to meet distinct customer needs and drive growth. * **Strategic Partnership:** Collaborate closely with your engineering manager counterpart, leveraging this partnership to understand trade-offs, make rapid decisions, and maintain product momentum. * **Direct Customer Engagement:** Work directly with customers, guiding them toward optimal architectures, building excitement for upcoming features, gathering feedback on future needs, and balancing immediate opportunities with long-term product vision. * **Drive Results:** Execute campaigns with sellers and solutions engineers, lead webinars, assemble expert teams, and take all necessary actions to advance your priorities. * **Influence and Energize:** Harness organizational energy, excite teams, rally cross-functional support, and translate this momentum into product success. ### What You Will Bring (Requirements) * **Experience:** 5+ years of product management experience, ideally within infrastructure, data platforms, or cloud products, with a proven track record of shipping technical products and driving measurable outcomes. * **Technical Acumen:** Genuine interest in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
