THE ROLE: Principal, Motion Design

We are looking for a Principal, Motion Design who is not just a master animator but a true steward of the craft. You will be the driving force behind how our clients' brands move, feel, and interact, bridging the gap between creative vision and business impact. You'll guide new ideas from concept to pixel-perfect execution, defining guidelines, setting the quality bar, and pioneering new techniques.

This multidisciplinary role involves conceptualizing and executing 2D animation, UI motion, and motion graphics, as well as storyboarding and video editing. You'll leverage your technical skills to produce engaging content for marketing, product, and internal communications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Conceptualize, design, and create high-quality motion graphics, UI motion, animated sequences, and visual effects for video and digital content.
• Develop storyboards, style frames, and mood boards to effectively communicate visual ideas.
• Ensure all animated content aligns with brand guidelines, project objectives, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand project goals and deliver creative solutions.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative input to enhance overall video production quality.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines.
• Maintain an organized system for project files, assets, and templates.
• Stay current with industry trends, software, and tools to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of motion design work.

Compensation

• US Remote Range: $85,000—$140,000 USD per year (based on a 40-hour workweek, leveling, relevant experience, expertise, physical location, and organizational impact).
