Join the Tendem project at Mindrift as a skilled Mobile App Developer (React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin). In this hybrid AI + human environment, you'll collaborate with AI agents, providing crucial mobile engineering expertise, platform-specific judgment, and quality control to build stable, performant, and user-ready mobile applications. This part-time remote freelance role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience shipping iOS and/or Android apps.

🚀 About the Role:

As a freelance Mobile App Developer for Tendem, you will design, build, and refine mobile applications across various categories (utilities, fitness, games, productivity, etc.) for iOS and Android, using native or cross-platform frameworks. Your goal is to ensure apps are stable, performant, and ready for real users on real devices.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Develop mobile applications using React Native, Flutter, Swift (iOS), or Kotlin (Android).
• Implement responsive mobile UIs adhering to platform conventions (iOS HIG, Material Design).
• Integrate native device features (camera, push notifications, location, storage, biometrics).
• Connect apps to backend APIs, manage offline state, caching, and synchronization.
• Implement monetization features (in-app purchases, ads, subscriptions) as required.
• Evaluate and refactor AI-generated mobile code for correctness, performance, battery usage, and maintainability.
• Debug platform-specific issues and prepare builds for distribution (TestFlight, Play Console).

💡 Requirements & Benefits:

• Experience: Minimum 3 years in mobile app development.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related technical field is a plus.
• Skills: Strong foundation in mobile development, platform-specific UI/UX patterns, and experience with at least one framework (React Native, Flutter, Swift/SwiftUI, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose).
• Proficiency: Solid understanding of mobile UI patterns, state management, API integration, and native device APIs.
• Bonus: Experience with in-app purchases, ads, subscriptions, or backend services (Firebase, Supabase).
• Qualities: Strong attention to detail, performance awareness, self-directed work ethic.
• Portfolio: Required portfolio of shipped mobile apps (App Store / Google Play links preferred).

⏰ Project Time Expectations:

Estimated 10–20 hours per week during active project phases.
