About the Role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in building, maintaining, and optimizing our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes across various environments. You will collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless release cycles and reliable deployments, contributing significantly to improving our system architecture and adopting best DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot system issues using logs, diagnostics, and monitoring tools.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash.
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Configure and maintain web servers (IIS) and support application hosting environments.
  • Deploy, manage, and scale applications within Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Build and maintain Docker images, Dockerfiles, and containerized environments.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and observability solutions (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth release cycles and reliable deployments.
  • Contribute to improving system architecture and adopting best DevOps practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: BSc/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Language: Full working proficiency in English.
  • Core Skills:
  • Windows and Linux administration skills.
  • Solid understanding of system internals, troubleshooting, and log analysis.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, and SSL/TLS.
  • Proficiency with Git (branching, merging, rebasing) and modern workflows.
  • Cloud & Containerization:
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
  • Familiarity with container registries.
  • Helm and cert-manager are considered a plus.
  • Web Servers: Experience managing IIS (Nginx/Tomcat is a plus).
  • Databases: Working knowledge of MS SQL for support and diagnostics.
  • Programming/Scripting:
  • Required: .NET (C# / ASP.NET) for understanding application build and deployment processes.
  • Preferred: Node.js for developing extensions for Azure DevOps.
  • Nice to have: Python or Go for creating supporting tools and scripts.
  • Monitoring: Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Zabbix).
  • Architecture: Understanding of modern architectures (monolith, microservices, event-driven, serverless).
