Product Manager, Reporting & Customer Reconciliation

About BVNK

BVNK believes the next generation of financial services will be powered by stablecoins and is building stablecoin-native infrastructure to accelerate global money movement. Founded in 2021, BVNK facilitates billions in transactions for enterprise clients with global licenses and Tier 1 bank partnerships. Our technology transforms how businesses operate globally by eliminating payment delays, reducing costs, and unlocking trapped capital. We are a diverse, global team committed to stablecoins as the new infrastructure layer for financial services. BVNK has secured strategic investment from Visa and notable venture capital firms, indicating strong growth potential.

About this role in the team

We’re looking for a Product Manager to own the product vision, strategy, and delivery for the Reporting & Customer Reconciliation subdomain within BVNK’s Ledger domain. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, finance, operations, and commercial teams to define how BVNK’s customers and BVNK’s own internal teams see, understand, and trust their financial data. The Ledger domain is the financial backbone of BVNK, a single, trusted source of truth for all customer and transactional balances across products, currencies, and rails. Within this domain, the Reporting & Customer Reconciliation subdomain is responsible for providing clear, consistent financial views derived from the ledger for both internal and external reporting. Through the Reporting Service, Search Service, and downstream data surfaces, it ensures that positions, balances, and movements are accurately represented for Finance, Risk, Operations, and customers.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role. As part of BVNK’s Billing 2.0 vision and the drive toward a 100% self-serve customer experience, you’ll define and deliver the product capabilities that give customers full transparency; enabling them to reconcile invoices, audit charges programmatically, and automate close processes, while also building the internal reporting foundations that Finance, Reconciliation, and Operations depend on to scale.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Reporting & Customer Reconciliation: Define the strategy for how BVNK exposes financial data to customers and internal teams, aligning with the broader Ledger domain mission and company objectives (Billing 2.0, self-serve experience, MiCA compliance).
  • Drive transaction report fee breakdowns: Define requirements and work with engineering to ensure transaction reports and APIs properly include both real-time and invoiced fees, broken down by fee type.
  • Build the customer reconciliation product: Define and deliver customer-facing reconciliation endpoints and reporting surfaces that enable enterprise clients to programmatically audit charges, automate close processes, and reconcile against invoices.
  • Improve internal financial reporting: Partner with Finance, Reconciliation, and Operations to understand their data needs and deliver standardized reports and views that replace fragmented, manual processes with reliable, automated data pipelines.
  • Collaborate across domains: Work with the Billing & Fees, Wallets, Balances, Digital Assets, Treasury, and Reconciliation domains to ensure reporting data is consistent and accurate end-to-end.
  • Define reporting for multi-entity and regulatory requirements: As BVNK expands across jurisdictions and customer types, ensure reporting structures correctly represent entity-specific data, segregation requirements, and regulatory obligations (MiCA safekeeping, EMI reconciliation).
  • Own stakeholder relationships: Serve as the primary product contact for Reporting & Customer Reconciliation. Engage regularly with Commercial (AMs/CSMs), Finance, Operations, and enterprise customers to gather requirements, validate solutions, and communicate roadmap priorities.
  • Measure and iterate: Define and track KPIs for reporting accuracy, customer adoption of reconciliation tools, reduction in manual reconciliation effort, and internal stakeholder satisfaction. Use data to inform roadmap prioritization and demonstrate impact.
  • Ship with quality: Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Participate in architecture reviews and technical design submissions. Run beta programs with select customers and internal teams to validate reporting capabilities before general availability.

What we need from you

  • 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, or financial services — ideally with exposure to ledger systems, financial reporting, or reconciliation products.
  • Deep understanding of financial data and reporting — you’ve worked with transaction data, balance reporting, reconciliation workflows, or invoicing systems. You understand concepts like double-entry bookkeeping, ledger postings, balance snapshots, and fee structures or can learn them quickly.
  • Experience building internal and customer-facing data products — you’ve defined and delivered reporting APIs, dashboards, data exports, or reconciliation tools that serve both external customers and internal operations teams.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills — you’re comfortable working with engineering, finance, operations, compliance, and commercial teams. You can translate complex financial requirements into clear product specifications and negotiate priorities across stakeholders with competing needs.
  • Data-driven decision making — you use quantitative and qualitative data to inform roadmap decisions, measure product impact, and communicate outcomes to leadership.
  • Technical fluency — you don’t need to write code, but you can engage meaningfully with engineers on API design, data models, event-driven architectures, and database schemas. You’re comfortable with tools like Snowflake, QuickSight, or similar BI/data warehousing platforms.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, scaling environment — you’ve operated in a startup or scale-up where scope is broad, resources are constrained, and you need to make pragmatic trade-offs between ideal and achievable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you write clear PRDs, run effective stakeholder meetings, and can present product strategy to senior leadership with confidence.
  • Remote-first mindset — you’re effectively working across time zones in an asynchronous-first culture, using Slack, Confluence, and Jira as primary collaboration tools.

Nice to have

  • Experience with regulated financial services (EMI, VASP) and compliance reporting requirements (MiCA, safeguarding, client money rules).
  • Background in B2B payments platforms, stablecoin infrastructure, or crypto-adjacent products.
  • Familiarity with reconciliation platforms (Duco, Xero, or similar) and financial ledger systems.
  • Experience working with multi-tenant architectures and entity-level data segregation.
  • Understanding of event-driven data pipelines (Kafka, outbox patterns) and how they impact data consistency in reporting.
  • Product experience with self-serve billing or invoicing platforms.

What you can expect from us

  • Fair and competitive salary at every stage of your growth.
  • Flexible working hours, with hybrid working at its heart.
  • A culture built on passionate, growth-minded people.
  • A flexible approach to holiday.
  • Opportunities to travel to our offices around the world.
  • An open and creative environment where you can help us define the future of BVNK, its culture, and its opportunity sets.
