The Opportunity
We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our BASE Focus Area (Tagus team) in Brazil! This is a Remote – Brazil position, meaning you can work from anywhere within the country. This role is only open to candidates in Brasil.
At the Tagus team, we build the heart of the Wellhub business model, creating a scalable platform to support millions of active users, clients, and partners globally with high availability. We focus on challenges like building systems with flexible commercial conditions and managing critical flows such as subscriptions, acting as the source of truth for key entities.

- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve services focusing on performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Build integrations with 3rd party APIs and tools.

Who You Are
- An engineer with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience.
- Experienced in architecting large-scale multi-tier applications.
- Experienced in designing and developing complex modern web applications.
- Experienced in Cloud-based architectures (AWS / GCP).
- Experienced in developing RESTful web services, collaborating with front-end teams.
- Proficient in applying computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
- Experienced with SQL/NoSQL technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB).
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (Java/Ruby/Go/C++/etc.). Golang is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for working with multidisciplinary, international teams.
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly in English.
- Mandatory requirements for this specific role: prior experience in Java/Kotlin and architecture.
