Growth Account Executive (Enterprise Accounts)

Skillsoft is seeking an experienced Growth Account Executive to drive measurable business goals related to revenue and whitespace growth within existing enterprise accounts. By building positive customer relationships through digital communication, you will sell groundbreaking products and solutions. This is a strategic, solution-selling role focused on relationship building across diverse industries.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive top-line revenue through the growth of an existing enterprise account base.
  • Sell Skillsoft Content and Platform solutions directly to corporate decision-makers.
  • Influence customers at the senior leadership level by building relationships and offering solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Collaborate with related sales, customer success, marketing, and support teams to advance critical opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver executive presentations with research, data, and tailored content, followed by impeccable follow-up.
  • Create measurable business goals with defined timelines for revenue and whitespace growth.
  • Provide management with feedback and recommendations on pipeline health, risks, opportunities, and progress.

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience selling SaaS, B2B, or enterprise software to VP, SVP, and C-Level Executives, with an outstanding quota attainment history.
  • Currently reside in the UK with the ability to travel to customers within a regional territory as required.
  • Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office Suite, with strong attention to detail and pipeline documentation.
  • Ability to exceed sales targets, with a keen understanding of the sales cycle and how to leverage each stage.
  • Skilled at demonstrating solutions, speaking the language of corporate buyers, respectfully challenging their thinking, and negotiating effectively based on value and time to close.
  • Ability to collaborate and leverage subject matter expertise in a matrixed sales environment.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and proficient in operating with a sense of urgency and a positive, winning attitude.
  • Proven ability to understand complex client requirements and articulate offerings to develop solutions.
  • Willingness to take ownership and solve problems with an agile mindset.

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in the learning, human capital, or human capital technology space is preferred.
