About the Role

Gridnaut Recruiting is seeking a talented remote Full Stack Software Engineer for a flexible hourly contractor engagement, supporting a leading AI laboratory. This is a Python-forward full-stack role where you will play a crucial part in model-training support, evaluation, and structured task review. You will operate across a wide technical stack, including backend services, frontend development (React), database management, and cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Contribute to backend services, frontend (React) development, database interactions, and cloud system integration.
• AI Support: Support model-training, evaluation processes, and structured task reviews for advanced AI initiatives.
• Language Proficiency: Utilize proficiency in Python as a core language, alongside other relevant languages such as Java, Rust, C#, and C++.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of production software experience at a top-tier company.
• Programming Languages:
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Java, Rust, C#, or C++ is also relevant.
• Working proficiency in a second listed language (beyond Python).
• Full-Stack Skills: Demonstrated full-stack experience, including backend development, frontend development (React), databases, and cloud platforms.
• Availability: Availability for the engagement's required schedule, up to 40 hours per week.
• Work Arrangement: Remote availability for an hourly contractor engagement.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $50–$65 per hour (USD), commensurate with experience and demonstrated skill.
