Job Overview

You will join the Mitratech HR Solutions Engineering team, working on an AI-First SaaS Learning Management Solution. The focus is on delivering high-quality, well-tested, secure, and scalable software that provides exceptional client experiences. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Authoring code for implementing features using Python/React.
• System Design & Task Decomposition: Break down high-level product goals into well-defined, modular engineering tasks.
• Code Review & Validation: Conduct in-depth reviews of human and AI-generated code, ensuring quality, security, and scalability.
• Architectural Oversight: Ensure design plans adhere to architectural decisions, focusing on modularity.
• AI-Integrated Development Lifecycle: Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines incorporating AI agents, automated testing, and intelligent code reviews.
• AI-Oriented Prompt Engineering: Design and test structured instructions and prompts to drive accurate AI output.
• Documentation and Domain Clarity: Contribute to domain models, technical documentation, and knowledge bases.
• On-call rotation for production issue remediation.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with teammates to resolve complex problems and discuss design/architecture.
• Secure Coding: Write secure code, avoiding OWASP vulnerabilities, and understanding API security, session handling, and data validation.
• Mentoring: Foster an excellent engineering culture based on trust, accountability, and honesty.
• Feedback: Seek feedback and deliver constructive criticism tactfully.

Your Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, data science, computer science, or information systems preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience developing SaaS applications.
• Experience with building applications via AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Devin.ai, Codex).
• Relevant experience in Python, React, AWS.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Anticipated Pay Range: $130,000 – $165,000 Annually USD.
• Total compensation includes US employee benefits and annual bonus eligibility.
