About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and closing business with Motive’s largest prospects in the Northeast region. You will focus on selling the value of Motive's products and the business outcomes achievable through partnership. This role requires building strong executive relationships, deeply understanding client businesses, and identifying opportunities for expansion and increased share of wallet. You will collaborate closely with your account team, utilizing customer analytics and technical resources to demonstrate the impact of Motive's integrations and partner ecosystem.
Open Territory: DC, DE, MD, NY, NJ, PA, VA
Location Requirement: Must reside within one of the listed Northeast states.
Travel: Approximately 2 times per month.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and win new Enterprise business by developing key executive relationships within target accounts.
- Drive account expansion and grow share of wallet by understanding client businesses and identifying opportunities for additional collaboration.
- Leverage executive relationships to secure RFP wins and build contractual business.
- Partner with your account team, utilizing customer analytics and resources to optimize buying decisions.
- Resolve problems by identifying issues, determining optimal solutions, and implementing them effectively.
- Work with technical resources to showcase the power of integrations and how the partner ecosystem enhances hardware and software value.
- Effectively plan to meet and exceed ongoing business goals and revenue quotas.
- Develop a deep understanding of the technology platform and operations, using market input to inform business iterations.
- Continuously study market trends to provide consultative insights.
About You
- Experience: 4+ years of SaaS or industry-relevant Enterprise field sales experience, with a strong track record of partnering with F1000 clients.
- Performance: A proven, data-backed history of exceeding quotas and rapidly growing your book of business.
- Influence: Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers, influencing outcomes through understanding the customer's business and Motive's unique solutions.
- Work Ethic: A history of working independently with a data-driven mindset for charting a path to short, medium, and long-term sales goals.
- Communication: Best-in-class communication skills, with the ability to successfully convey key value propositions and effectively manage objections.
- Travel: Ability to travel approximately 2 times per month.
Compensation & Benefits
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $230,000—$300,000 USD (base pay + commissions).
