About the Role

As a Creative Director at Chime, you will be responsible for developing brand-defining campaigns that resonate across TV, social media, brand partnerships, and more. You will craft captivating narratives and innovative marketing strategies, balancing top-of-funnel brand awareness with the full marketing funnel's strategic objectives. This role requires a blend of creative vision, strategic thinking, and leadership to ensure our campaigns are culturally relevant, brand-defining, and aligned with business goals.

In this Role, You Can Expect To

  • Create a compelling vision for the Chime brand, translating it into powerful and authentic storytelling that drives awareness and consideration.
  • Develop and execute a creative vision for the brand's look and feel through integrated marketing campaigns across all channels.
  • Champion bold ideas and creative approaches to deepen connections with Chime's members.
  • Oversee the end-to-end creative process, from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with brand values and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing leads to develop integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to a team of art directors, designers, and copywriters.
  • Lead creative brainstorming sessions, offering clear guidance, feedback, and inspiration.
  • Manage relationships with external creative agencies, production houses, and media partners.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in creative marketing.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our consumer base, market trends, and competitor landscape.
  • Inspire commitment, loyalty, and pride within the organization.

To Thrive in This Role, You Have

  • A deep passion for building brands with a results-oriented mindset.
  • 8+ years in creative leadership, with at least 5 years in a leadership position building brand-level work.
  • Deep understanding of advanced AI tools to support the creative process.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, Copywriting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a creative agency environment, with a strong portfolio of consumer-facing campaigns (TV, digital, partnerships).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop creative concepts that drive engagement and brand loyalty.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, mentor, and lead a creative team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with external partners.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $201,000.00 - $279,000.00 USD (actual salary may vary based on location, skills, qualifications, and experience).
  • Additional Compensation: Eligible for bonus and competitive equity package.
