About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for developing and closing new business with Motive’s largest prospects, targeting impactful companies in the physical economy. This role is a key part of our heavily invested Enterprise Go-To-Market (GTM) segment, where you will champion the value of our products and the business outcomes they deliver. You will sell across various industries, including transportation, logistics, construction, energy, and manufacturing, working with businesses that rely on vehicle fleets.
This high-energy, fast-paced role requires a willingness to learn, strong technical aptitude, and meticulous attention to detail. A collaborative, win-as-a-team mentality is essential.

What You’ll Do
- Prospect and secure new Enterprise business by building key executive relationships.
- Drive expansion within key accounts by understanding client needs and identifying collaboration opportunities.
- Leverage executive relationships to win RFPs and grow contractual business.
- Partner with your account team, utilizing customer analytics and resources to optimize decisions.
- Identify and resolve complex problems by thinking critically and implementing effective solutions.
- Collaborate with technical resources to demonstrate the power of integrations and our partner ecosystem.
- Plan and execute strategies to meet and exceed revenue quotas.
- Develop a deep understanding of Motive's technology and operations, providing market input for product iterations.
- Continuously study market trends to offer consultative insights.
About You
- Deep Enterprise Sales Experience: Proven success selling to F1000 clients.
- Proven Track Record: 4+ years of SaaS or industry-relevant Enterprise field sales experience with a history of exceeding quotas and growing your book of business.
- Executive Relationship Building: Ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers and influence outcomes.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Experience working independently and using data to chart sales goals.
- Exceptional Communication: Best-in-class skills for conveying value propositions and managing objections.
Compensation & Benefits
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $230,000—$300,000 USD (Base Pay + Commissions). This range applies to both the Bay Area and other U.S. locations.
