Associate Scrum Master (m/w/d)

About the Role

As an Associate Scrum Master at Qvest Stream GmbH, you will support our iteratively working product team for broadcast software products like Makalu and ClipBox. These solutions are used worldwide by broadcasters, media houses, and broadcast service providers to manage their daily workflows.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare, moderate, and follow up on all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily, Refinement, Review, Retrospective).
• Operationally lead the sprints for our product team focusing on Makalu or ClipBox, ensuring focus, flow, and a clear sprint progression.
• Support the Product Owner in maintaining, structuring, and prioritizing the Product Backlog.
• Maintain and develop our sprint and team boards in Jira, along with associated documentation in Confluence.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Development, UX/UI, and Deployment teams throughout our software product lifecycle.
• Promote transparency, self-organization, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Contribute to the further development of our iterative, sprint-based working methods and engineering culture.

Your Profile

• Successfully completed university degree (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Technology, Business Administration) or a comparable qualification.
• 1-2 years of practical experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role within iterative, sprint-based software or product development.
• Solid understanding of Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe, with a focus on teamwork and the ability to confidently and appropriately apply the most suitable framework.
• Proficient use of Jira and Confluence in daily sprint and team operations.
• Scrum-related certification (e.g., PSM I, CSM) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Affinity for software development and SaaS products, with demonstrable experience or strong interest in the broadcast or media tech industry.
• High communication skills, moderation abilities, and empathy when dealing with various stakeholders.
• Structured, independent work style with a strong sense of teamwork and service.
• Native-level German and fluent English, both written and spoken.
