About the Role
As a Senior Engineer at Tide, you will be instrumental in designing, creating, and running the rich product catalog. This role presents an exciting opportunity to own engineering practices within a fast-growing company, empowering you to make significant technical decisions that influence multiple teams and the future of Tide's Global One Platform. You'll work in small, autonomous domain-focused teams, contributing to micro-frontends and a WOW experience, ensuring a resilient, error-free, and scalable codebase.
Your Responsibilities
- Learn and share knowledge with engineers, embracing experimentation and collaborative learning for career growth.
- Develop new and existing products, tackling interesting problems with an exciting roadmap.
- Leverage your experience to mentor less experienced engineers, fostering collaboration.
- Join an expanding multi-disciplinary agile team, working with product owners, UI/UX designers, architects, and other business members to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions.
- Contribute to the Flutter Community of Practice, providing input on process improvements and quality maintenance.
- Utilize the Tide Growth Framework for career progression and outgrow initial responsibilities as desired.
What We're Looking For
- Working experience with Flutter as a Software Engineer.
- Experience with popular Flutter libraries, tools, and its lifecycle.
- Passion for building great products in small, autonomous, agile teams.
- Passion for automation testing and experience writing testable code.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools and LLMs to improve engineering productivity, software quality, and delivery velocity.
- Experience building sleek, high-performance user interfaces and complex mobile apps that have successfully shipped to customers.

- Flutter and Dart (latest iterations).

- Modular approach with Melos for an extensive Dart codebase (300+ packages, ~2 million lines of code).
- State management and dependency injection using flutter_bloc, get_it, and injectable.
- Navigation with auto_route and flow_builder.
- Backend communication with freezed, json_serializable, retrofit, and dio interceptors.
- Code generation with mason and build_runner.
- Localization using i69n.
