Role Overview

You will work closely with our leadership (CEO/COO) and clients, making clear communication and a collaborative spirit essential. National and international travel may be required, estimated between 0%-15% depending on project and organizational needs.

How You'll Contribute

• Build & Maintain: Take ownership of the lifecycle of our AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, cost-effective, and high-performing.
• Enable Teams: Collaborate closely with developers and leadership (including our CEO and COO) to integrate DevOps best practices into daily workflows.
• Automate Everything: Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines to create smooth and reliable deployment experiences.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in root cause analysis and observability efforts to foster team learning from every challenge.

We’re Looking for Someone Who…

• Has a Growth Mindset: Comfortable navigating Unix systems and enjoys the "detective work" of troubleshooting.
• Values Collaboration: Believes in a "politics-free" environment and thrives when working towards a common goal with minimal supervision.
• Communicates with Clarity: Adept at explaining technical concepts to diverse stakeholders in English.

Your Technical Toolkit:

• Cloud: Solid experience with AWS (Networking, Accounts, and Infrastructure).
• Automation/IaC: Proficiency with Terraform/Terragrunt and Ansible.
• Containers: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm Charts.
• CI/CD: Experience setting up pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Observability: Familiarity with Grafana, Kibana, DataDog, or CloudWatch.
• Scripting: Comfortable writing in Bash, Python, or Javascript/Typescript.

Recruitment Stages

• Screening: Reviewing CVs and eligibility verification.
• 1st Call: 30-minute call to assess Technical & Culture Fit with an IT Recruiter.
• Tech Interview: 2-hour call with two Cloud Engineers to assess technical knowledge through theoretical scenarios and live practical exercises.
• Cultural Interview: 1-hour call with a Minder to assess cultural fit and align expectations.
• Project/Client Call: 30-minute to 1-hour call with the client or project team to assess technical fit for a specific project and align expectations.
