About the Company

The International Tax Services (ITS) team in the Zuid-West region is part of the national Tax & Legal department and is actively seeking a Senior Manager to help achieve ambitious growth targets. Our ITS team provides tax advisory and compliance services to international corporate clients across all economic sectors, focusing on substantial international tax advisory projects.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Manager ITS to elevate the ITS practice in the Zuid-West region through your extensive experience and commercial acumen. You will serve as a trusted advisor and sparring partner for our international clients, providing strategic and practical implementation advice. You will also inspire and coach your colleagues, fostering their professional and personal development. Key Responsibilities

• Client Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their tax advisory needs are met with high-quality service and expertise.
• Technical Advisory: Develop and present technical advice on ITS matters (primarily corporate tax, dividend and other withholding taxes, European tax law, and treaty application), offering innovative and implementable solutions.
• Team Leadership: Guide and coach junior team members, promoting their professional growth and development.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other areas of the practice (TP, VAT, Expat Services, advisory) to offer comprehensive client solutions.
• Commerciality: Acquire new clients through your network, expand existing client relationships, and promote BDO's value proposition internally. Proactively contribute to the growth of the ITS team and realize lasting impact for BDO in the Zuid-West region.

About You

• Completed Master's degree in Tax Law or Fiscal Economics (WO level).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience within international tax advisory, a large advisory/law firm, or as a Senior Inspector at the tax authorities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven commercial skills in developing practice areas, acquiring new clients, and promoting added value to existing clients.
• Proficiency in English.
