About the Role
Wrike is seeking a Security Customer Success Engineer (SCSE) to serve as the primary technical security advisor connecting our security organization with our global customer base. You will be the key technical security point of contact for Sales and Customer Success teams, guiding customers to understand Wrike’s security capabilities and building trust throughout their journey. This role is crucial for removing security-related blockers in pre-sales and post-sales engagements, clearly communicating Wrike’s security posture, and highlighting security as a competitive advantage. It's ideal for a customer-facing, proactive individual who can translate complex technical security requirements into clear business value.
Your Impact:
- Lead technical security discussions with customer security teams (officers, CISOs, IT stakeholders) to address concerns and validate Wrike’s security capabilities.
- Support Sales teams by proactively identifying and resolving security-related objections impacting deal progression.
- Drive business growth by promoting Wrike’s premium security features (e.g., Wrike Lock, data residency) and demonstrating their alignment with customer needs.
- Contribute to larger deal sizes by positioning security as a strategic element of the customer’s buying decision.
- Complete security questionnaires, RFPs, and customer security portal assessments efficiently and accurately.
- Utilize internal AI tools and knowledge bases to provide high-quality, consistent responses to technical security inquiries.
- Quickly learn and adhere to internal security workflows and processes for a seamless customer and stakeholder experience.
- Partner closely with the core Security team to stay informed on product updates, vulnerabilities, and roadmap developments.
- Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams through regular follow-ups and ongoing support.
- Share customer feedback and recurring security needs with Product and Security teams to inform future security improvements.
- Contribute to process enhancements for managing security inquiries and customer interactions.
Your Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical role (e.g., Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Security Consulting), preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex security and compliance concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience handling customer objections and guiding security discussions in a business-focused manner.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using AI tools, internal documentation, or knowledge bases to enhance response quality and efficiency.
- Advanced English speaking and written skills.
Standout Qualities:
- Experience with RFP automation platforms (e.g., Loopio, Responsive).
- Familiarity with the Collaborative Work Management (CWM) space.
- Deeper experience in customer-facing security roles within SaaS organizations.

Team Dynamics:
Reporting to Alexis Jordan, you will work closely with the Security team, as well as Sales and Customer Success teams across Wrike. This role requires strong collaboration, responsiveness, and a customer-first mindset.
