About the Role
Do you want to not only be successful in sales yourself but also lead a team to strong results? As a Senior Sales Manager (m/w/d), you will actively shape our B2B sales in the DACH region. You will develop your team, win strategic major clients, and drive sustainable growth together with us.
Responsibilities
- Acquisition of strategically relevant B2B major clients in the DACH region
- Consulting clients and developing individual, needs-based sales solutions
- Conducting presentations and negotiations at decision-maker and management levels up to successful conclusion
- Creating offers and conducting contract and price negotiations
- Providing technical and disciplinary leadership as well as further development of a sales team
- Coaching, training, and supporting employees, as well as onboarding new team members
- Defining, steering, and monitoring sales goals and KPIs, including deriving measures for goal achievement
- Active pipeline and forecast management in the CRM system
- Representing the company at trade fairs, events, and conferences, as well as expanding the network
- Analyzing market and competitor developments to identify new growth opportunities
Requirements
- Several years of experience in B2B sales with multinational companies, ideally in the business travel industry
- Initial experience in the technical and/or disciplinary leadership of a sales team
- Strong sales, customer, and closing orientation
- Experience in steering sales KPIs and working with CRM systems
- Strong communication skills and negotiation expertise at decision-maker and management level
- Structured, independent, and results-oriented way of working
- Strong team spirit and enjoyment in developing and motivating employees
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
