We are Walt’s Comic Shop, one of Europe's leading comic retailers. From our base in Berlin, we ship comics, graphic novels, manga, omnibus editions, art books, and collectibles to customers across Europe and worldwide.
About the Role
For our team, we are looking for a Designer to support us in the creation of print and digital projects.
Responsibilities
You will design, among other things:
- Layouts and designs for recurring editorial and print projects
- Social ad assets for Meta, Reddit, and other marketing channels
- Website banners, sliders, and visual elements for our online shop
- YouTube thumbnails and other digital marketing materials
- Flyers, stickers, merchandise, and other print products
- Templates and design systems that our team can use regularly
You will also support us in further developing our visual brand world and ensuring consistency across all channels.
Requirements
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
- Experience with print design and print data
- Experience with magazines, brochures, or other multi-page publications
- A good sense for typography, layout, colors, and visual communication
- The ability to build clean and reusable templates
- Good English skills
Of Particular Importance
A significant part of the role involves designing editorial and print projects. Experience with multi-page layouts is therefore an important selection criterion for us.
We are explicitly not looking for a pure social media designer.
