What You'll Do
The Pre-Sales Solution Engineering organization is responsible for the technical sales of Cloudflare's solution portfolio, ensuring maximum business value, fit-for-purpose solution design, and adoption roadmaps for customers. As a customer-facing technologist, you will partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements, provide sales support, deliver technical presentations and demos, and run proof-of-concept trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and map customer initiatives and business problems to Cloudflare solutions.
- Build relationships and technical champions within customer accounts.
- Develop and present customer presentations to all levels within an Enterprise Customer's organization.
- Lead demo and proof-of-concept activities for Cloudflare prospects and customers.
- Share expertise with peers through professional content creation (white papers, blog posts).
- Represent and evangelize Cloudflare externally at industry events with thought leadership.
- Apply in-depth vertical knowledge or domain expertise and advise on best practices.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Fluency in a Nordic language.
- Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or other customer-facing technical role with CDN, Security, Networking, or SaaS.
- Solid communication, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and activities concurrently.
- Highly driven, curious, team-oriented individuals with a sense of urgency.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in relevant work experience.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for meetings, conferences, and team collaboration.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Fundamental understanding of customer network and/or application architectures.
- Detailed understanding of user-to-application workflow, including hybrid architectures with Azure, AWS, GCP.
- Understanding of application and/or network security.
- Experience with SaaS application environments.
- Knowledge of VPN and remote access challenges.
- Familiarity with SIEM and log analytics platforms.
- Client OS fundamentals and software distribution.
- Experience interacting with senior executives on network and security transformation.
- Knowledge of routing, subnetting, split tunnels, SD-WAN, and local internet breakout.
- Understanding of end-user and application security risks (DDoS, malware, phishing, viruses).
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape for CDN providers and internet security technologies.
Compensation
- Estimated annual salary for Sweden-based hires: SEK 1,102,000 - SEK 1,515,000.
- This role is eligible for incentive compensation under Cloudflare’s Sales Compensation Plan.
Equity
- This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
