Salary

• Up to £28,737.55 per annum, plus company van and fuel card.

Role Overview

As a Caretaker, you will be part of a local team responsible for high-standard Caretaking works to Housing properties. Your role involves delivering best-in-class customer service while satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards. This is a field-based role covering Medway.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure cleaning, repairs, and maintenance are undertaken according to agreed protocols and timeframes.
• Proactively manage PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) safety compliance on all blocks.
• Schedule upcoming works, including Fire Risk Assessments, seasonal upkeep, and safety checks at necessary intervals.

Role Criteria

• Experience in Caretaking/Cleaning.
• Good written & verbal communication skills.
• Good Numeracy skills.
• Ability to understand & follow standard operating procedures.
• Ability to use a PDA following training.

• To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21, have held your license over 3 months, and have less than 9 points.
