Job Description: Salesforce Health Cloud Solution Architect

We are looking for a leader to architect and deliver comprehensive Salesforce Health Cloud solutions for enterprise healthcare clients. This role requires deep expertise in Health Cloud features, integration architecture, and the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce Health Cloud solution architecture and delivery for large, enterprise healthcare implementations.
  • Translate complex healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.
  • Drive architectural decisions covering Salesforce core, Health Cloud extensions, integrations, data models, and automation.
  • Provide hands-on leadership with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Define and govern integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7).
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management.
  • Lead all phases of the delivery lifecycle: requirements, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Provide technical governance, conduct design/code reviews, and manage architectural risks and technical debt.
  • Lead and mentor multi-shore Salesforce teams (developers, admins, QA, offshore teams).
  • Oversee DevOps and CI/CD tools (Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Collaborate with program managers on scope, timelines, risks, and delivery commitments.
  • Drive innovation, including Proofs of Concept (PoCs), adoption of new Health Cloud features, and platform enhancements.
  • Participate in roadmap planning, release strategy, and long-term platform evolution discussions.
  • Work within Agile / Scaled Agile environments, supporting sprint planning and release management.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Mentor team members and ensure high standards of delivery.
  • Understand and apply technology integration scenarios in complex troubleshooting.
  • Convert client business use cases and technical requirements into elegant technical designs.
  • Map decisions to requirements and translate them for developers.
  • Identify and narrow down optimal solutions.
  • Own the overall Health Cloud technical strategy, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance (HIPAA/PHI).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, architects, and senior leadership.
  • Review and approve technical designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Ensure adoption of Salesforce best practices, governor limit optimization, performance tuning, and code quality.
  • Guide teams on Salesforce security model, data access, sharing rules, consent management, and compliance.
  • Identify project stakeholders and collaborate to ensure project success.
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams.
  • Validate solution feasibility against platform capabilities and project constraints.
  • Prepare and maintain process flows, business process models, functional diagrams, and documentation.
  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Support user adoption through training materials and release notes.
  • Analyze existing implementations and recommend improvements.
  • Define guidelines for Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs).
  • Write and review design documents.
  • Review architecture and design for extensibility, scalability, security, patterns, UX, and NFRs.
  • Develop overall solutions for functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Understand and apply technology integration scenarios.
  • Resolve issues through root cause analysis and justify decisions.
  • Carry out PoCs to validate design and technology choices.

Requirements

  • Total Experience: 7.5+ years.
  • Deep expertise in Health Cloud features (Patient/Member Profiles, Care Plans, Care Programs, Care Teams, Health Timelines, Assessments, Care Gaps, Utilization Management).
  • Strong leadership in translating complex healthcare business requirements into scalable Salesforce Health Cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on leadership experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, Triggers, Batch Apex, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience defining and governing integration architecture using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and healthcare standards (FHIR, HL7).
  • Strong understanding of EHR/EMR integrations, payer/provider workflows, and patient/member lifecycle management.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools (Copado, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Strong experience working in Agile / Scaled Agile environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
