Job Description: Sales Recruiter

Our client, a high-growth B2B travel and fintech platform serving over 30,000 companies and 1 million business travelers, is backed by Blackstone and Permira. They are scaling their sales organization and require a dedicated Sales Recruiter to manage full-cycle hiring for roles including SDRs, Account Executives, and Account Management. This position operates at the intersection of travel tech and fintech, demanding a recruiter who can excel in both high-volume pipeline searches and precision individual contributor hires.

What You'll Do

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for the sales organization: SDRs, SDR leadership, AEs, and Account Management.
  • Manage high-volume SDR pipeline searches concurrently with AM and AE searches.
  • Partner with sales leaders as a strategic advisor on leveling, compensation benchmarking, and hiring plans, providing constructive pushback when necessary.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies (direct sourcing, referrals, networking, creative outbound) to consistently identify top-quartile sales talent.
  • Conduct efficient, candidate-respecting interview processes, including intakes, scorecards, debriefs, and offer negotiations.
  • Utilize data from Greenhouse (pipeline health, conversion rates, time-to-fill) to drive decisions and report on funnel metrics.
  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing techniques, calibration, and effectively selling the company to candidates.
  • Credibly represent the client's culture to potential hires.

Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong Sales focus, including required SDR and AM pipeline hiring experience.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting SDRs and SDR leadership within Product-Led, B2B SaaS, travel tech, or fintech companies.
  • Proficiency as a Greenhouse power user, managing scorecards, pipeline reporting, and structured interview configurations.
  • Strong direct sourcing skills with proven outbound methods; reliance on inbound leads or agencies is not expected.
  • Direct, consultative communication style with sales leaders.
  • Data fluency: ability to understand and utilize funnel metrics for decision-making.
  • Active AI workflow: demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance output and ability to articulate their application.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in the travel, fintech, or B2B marketplace industries.
  • Based in Chicago or Denver (preferred locations).
  • Background in embedded or contract recruiting, demonstrating rapid ramp-up and independent operation.
