About the Role

Newsquest Media Group Ltd. is seeking a Group HR Administrator to join its People team. While ideally based within commutable distance of our Norwich or Bournemouth offices, the role is predominantly remote. This is a part-time position, requiring 28 hours per week, with flexibility to arrange your working pattern between Monday and Friday during standard office hours.

As a Group HR Administrator, you will provide high-quality HR administration and support to managers and employees across the UK. You will serve as a primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes. We are looking for someone organized, proactive, and people-focused, with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and the motivation to grow. This role is suitable for self-starters who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for daily HR inquiries, providing accurate and helpful guidance.
  • Support a broad spectrum of HR administration tasks throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract modifications, and departures.
  • Generate offer letters, employment contracts, and other necessary HR documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date HR systems and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist with the onboarding and induction processes for new hires.
  • Provide support for minute-taking as required.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider HR team to deliver a consistent and supportive service.
