Who You Are

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager to lead the construction of a $3 billion+ project. The ideal candidate has a strong background in capital project manufacturing or extensive experience in large-scale projects, coupled with exceptional leadership, coordination, and interface management skills. Job Description

Project Oversight

  • Be responsible for the overall construction of a $3 billion+ project.
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SOPC) for all construction-related matters.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate the consultants' site team, including Construction Project Managers, Schedule Managers, Risk Managers, and Cost Managers.
  • Oversee multiple General Contractors (GC) and Construction Managers (CM) working concurrently.

Interface Management

  • Ensure effective interface management among all stakeholders, including clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Project Delivery

  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Proactively manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies.

Compliance and Safety

  • Guarantee adherence to all relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Foster a strong culture of safety and quality across the project.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • 10-20+ years of proven experience, preferably in capital project manufacturing or large-scale construction projects.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Certifications

  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or equivalent are preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in capital project manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with large-scale construction projects.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Ability to be on-site in the London area 4 days a week.

Compensation
