About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to spearhead our outbound sales efforts. This role is crucial for identifying new business opportunities, facilitating product demonstrations, and guiding potential clients through our sales process. This is a proactive, opportunity-creation role focused on engaging small business owners in blue-collar industries. You'll join a team committed to skill development, career progression, and talent retention.
This is a 5x per week onsite role in Waltham, MA. A hybrid schedule may be possible after 3 months.
Compensation
$90k OTE ($60,000 base salary + commission)

You Will
- Drive Outbound Growth: Conduct high volumes of calls and outreach to identify and engage decision-makers.
- Master the Product: Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS product to communicate its value effectively.
- Consultative Selling: Understand prospect needs and tailor presentations to their pain points.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain meticulous records of sales activities and customer interactions in our CRM.
- Partner for Success: Qualify opportunities and collaborate with the sales team on strategy.
You Have
Must Have:
- 1+ years of sales experience, specifically in outbound prospecting or business development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and activity metrics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort in phone-based outreach.
- Experience performing product demonstrations and consultations.
- Ability to commute to the Waltham, MA office.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with the automotive industry, home services, or blue-collar sectors.
- Experience selling software or working in a high-growth startup environment.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

- Reference Checks
- Completion of the Wonderlic Assessment (20-30 min) is also required.
