About the Role

We are seeking a Software Engineer PCS7 Electrical Engineering (m/f/d) for our client in Hamburg/Pinneberg, through temporary employment with an option for permanent hire.

Responsibilities

Development and programming of automation solutions with Siemens PCS7
Creation and adaptation of control software for industrial plants
Project planning and configuration of process control systems
Execution of function tests, tests, and commissioning
Analysis and optimization of existing automation systems
Coordination with project management, electrical design, and clients
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or qualification as a state-certified technician (Electrical Engineering / Automation Technology)
Experience in software development for industrial automation systems
Knowledge of Siemens PCS7, S7, TIA Portal, or WinCC
Experience with industrial communication systems such as Profinet, Profibus, or comparable
Structured and independent work style
Technical understanding and teamwork skills
