Product Manager, Developer Experience
Pantheon is looking for an experienced Product Manager to own and drive the strategic vision for its Developer Experience (DX) product area. This is a pivotal role focused on enhancing how developers build, test, collaborate, and deploy web experiences on the Pantheon platform.

The Role
As the Product Manager for Developer Experience, you will own strategic product areas including Autopilot, Multidev, and Upstreams. You will define the strategy for these core products and lead expansion into high-impact areas such as public APIs, MCP integrations, and agentic infrastructure. This role requires co-authoring the product strategy and deeply understanding the needs of developers and their teams to ensure speed, confidence, and efficiency in their workflows.
What You Need to Succeed (Responsibilities)
- Synthesize a diverse product portfolio into a cohesive strategy that enhances developer productivity.
- Define the roadmap for emerging areas like public APIs, MCPs, and agentic systems.
- Deeply understand developer workflows, from local development and collaboration to CI/CD integration and deployment.
- Conduct research and competitive intelligence to identify high-leverage opportunities.
- Define success metrics that link developer velocity and satisfaction to business outcomes.
- Communicate strategy and progress clearly to engineering, product, and executive leadership.
What You Bring to the Table (Requirements)
- 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 3 years managing developer-facing products or platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a broad, complex product portfolio and unify disparate elements into a coherent strategy.
- Deep understanding of developer workflows (Git, CI/CD, testing, collaboration, deployment, infrastructure).
- Experience shipping integrations or platform APIs; familiarity with emerging technologies (AI agents, MCPs, agentic systems).
- Proven track record of taking products from strategy through launch and iterative improvement.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and navigate organizational complexity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience at a developer platform company (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Vercel, Netlify, LaunchDarkly).
- Hands-on knowledge of WordPress, Drupal, or modern JavaScript frameworks.

US Base Salary Range: $135,200ā$185,000 USD per year
