E-Commerce Manager (m/f/d)

Sattler Group GmbH is looking for a dedicated E-Commerce Manager (m/f/d) to spearhead the strategic and operational advancement of our e-commerce activities. This full-time, hybrid position offers substantial work-from-home opportunities, with company locations in the Hannover-Braunschweig-Göttingen-Wolfsburg, Ostwestfalen, and Magdeburg regions.

About the Role

As an E-Commerce Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping our online business. You will manage and develop the product assortments for our diverse online shops, oversee supplier relationships, and collaborate closely with our internal online marketing agency to optimize our web presence and implement effective digital marketing campaigns. A key aspect of this role involves analyzing sales and user data to continuously enhance the customer journey, working in tandem with our Marketing/Sales, Logistics, and IT departments to maximize revenue potential and ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic and operational development of e-commerce activities.
  • Enhancement of product assortments across various online shops.
  • Management and selection of suppliers.
  • Close collaboration with the internal online marketing agency for shop optimization and marketing initiatives.
  • Development and implementation of targeted online marketing measures.
  • Analysis of sales and user data to optimize the customer journey.
  • Close collaboration with Marketing/Sales, Logistics, and IT teams for smooth operations and revenue maximization.

Qualifications

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to evaluate data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Sales Experience: Advantageous, particularly in developing strategies to increase sales figures. Support provided by the group's internal agency.
  • E-Commerce & Marketing: Profound knowledge of e-commerce and a solid understanding of digital marketing strategies are essential.
  • High degree of initiative, teamwork, and affinity for digital trends are expected.
  • A relevant university degree and experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Pimcore, Tradebyte) are desirable.
  • Proficient English language skills are also a plus.
