✨ AI Insights & Summary

SPREAD is seeking a motivated Working Student to join their Go-To-Market (GTM) team in Berlin, playing a crucial role in operationalizing marketing execution. This position offers a unique, hands-on experience in an AI-native GTM organization, supporting leading industrial OEMs like BMW and Volkswagen. You'll gain real ownership from day one, managing event logistics, maintaining sales enablement resources, and conducting AI-assisted market research. It's an ideal opportunity for students eager to apply AI tools in a practical business context and gain valuable B2B SaaS experience.

About SPREAD

SPREAD develops Engineering Intelligence software that empowers leading industrial OEMs, including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Bosch, and Rheinmetall, to understand and optimize their complex products. By accelerating development cycles and reducing inefficiencies, SPREAD enables large-scale optimization. The company is backed by $30M in Series B funding and has been recognized as a LinkedIn Top Startup DACH and a SPARK AI Innovation Award winner.

The Role: Working Student - GTM Operations

You will join SPREAD's Go-To-Market (GTM) team as the operational backbone for marketing execution. This role provides real ownership from day one, focusing on event logistics, maintaining the sales enablement library, and running AI-assisted research for account-based marketing initiatives. The position is for a working student role, requiring 16 to 20 hours per week, with an expectation of on-site presence in Berlin, especially for events.

Your Responsibilities

  • Event Logistics: Plan and execute end-to-end logistics for SPREAD events, including conferences, satellite dinners, bootcamps, and the Industrial AI Summit. This covers invitations, coordination with Sales on target lists, managing materials, providing on-site support, and tracking post-event follow-up.
  • Sales Enablement: Own the event asset checklist in collaboration with the Design team, ensuring all booth materials, dinner collateral, and demo stations are ready and on-brand before each event.
  • Content Management: Maintain and version the sales enablement library (decks, one-pagers, case studies, battle cards) to ensure the sales team always has current, easily accessible materials.
  • Collateral Creation: Transform raw inputs (e.g., call notes, win stories, product updates) into first-draft collateral using SPREAD's AI toolchain, delivering review-ready assets to the senior team on a regular cadence.
  • Market Research: Conduct AI-assisted account research for executive outreach, generating briefings, competitive insights, and target lists using structured prompts and internal tools.
  • Content Operations: Manage light content operations, including scheduling posts, formatting LinkedIn carousels, and tracking engagement metrics to inform marketing strategy.

Your Experience

Must-Haves:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in business, communications, engineering, or a related field.
  • Availability for at least 16 hours per week starting September 2026.
  • Demonstrably AI-Native: Proven daily use of LLM tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to produce actual work. Candidates should be prepared to showcase projects or automations rather than just listing AI on their CV.
  • Comfortable adopting new tools independently, including Salesforce, CMS platforms, design handoff tools, and Markdown.
  • Organized and deadline-driven, with a commitment to closing loops promptly.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Professional working-level German proficiency for DACH events and customer-facing materials.

Strong Plus:

  • Prior exposure to B2B SaaS, enterprise sales, or event execution, including internships or previous student roles.
  • Hands-on experience as an active user of Salesforce, HubSpot, or a comparable CRM.
  • Interest in the automotive, industrial, or engineering sectors, with genuine curiosity about complex product development.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Figma handoffs, or slide master management.

Why SPREAD?

  • AI-Native GTM Exposure: Gain front-row insight into modern B2B marketing operations within a company serving major OEMs. Work alongside a senior team managing enterprise deals.
  • Real Ownership: Take charge of live workstreams in events, enablement, and ABM research, avoiding shadowing or busywork.
  • AI Toolchain: Full access to SPREAD's AI toolchain with an explicit mandate to use it for tasks that can be automated.
  • Perks: Deutschlandticket mobility budget and Urban Sports Club partnership.
  • Office Benefits: Lunch provided three times per week at the Berlin office.
