Responsibilities

Take responsibility as Technical Service Owner for IT security services and advise departments on client, server, and Microsoft 365 security solutions.
Analyze, evaluate, and continuously secure IT system landscapes, considering current security best practices and compliance requirements.
Develop, administer, and optimize Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Sentinel, and security monitoring environments.
Process and coordinate security incidents, including incident response, reporting, and analysis of security alerts from SOC, Defender, and Sentinel platforms.
Conduct threat hunting, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management activities to proactively identify and minimize security risks.
Create and maintain security policies, technical documentation, and support audit, compliance, and ISO processes.

Qualifications

Successfully completed IT training or a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field.
Practical experience in information security, cyber security, and incident response.
Good knowledge of Microsoft security technologies and security operations, particularly MDE, MDI, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Identity Protection.
Ideally, initial experience with Microsoft Purview and the Microsoft Security & Compliance environment.
Experience with SIEM, monitoring, and endpoint management solutions (e.g., Baramundi) is advantageous.
Understanding of current IT security standards, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
