To achieve this, we are expanding our Acquisition Team with a strong focus on scalable, profitable new customer acquisition, where Paid Search is a key growth driver.

Our Ambition in the Acquisition Team

  • Build the best media buying team in Germany.
  • Elevate Search, Shopping, PMax, and Demand Gen to new scaling levels.
  • Achieve profitable new customer acquisition with clear CAC logic, subscription focus, and full-funnel thinking.

We are investing heavily in tracking infrastructure, funnel architecture, creative assets, and talent. If you aim to actively dominate a market as a Senior in the Acquisition Team, read on.

Tasks

  • Independent scaling and strategic management of Google campaigns (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen / YouTube) with a clear focus on profitable new customer acquisition.
  • Restructuring and consolidation of campaign architecture: moving from fragmented product-based structures to conversion-strong, scalable account setups.
  • Building and managing scalable Demand Gen and YouTube strategies to effectively convert top-of-funnel reach into mid-funnel conversions.
  • Ownership of tracking and measurement: ensuring a clean conversion architecture in Google Ads, GA4, and Google Tag Manager as a mandatory discipline.
  • Passionate analysis of the entire funnel, from the first search click through advertorials and landing pages to checkout, identifying concrete optimization levers (Match Types, Bidding, Angles, Offer, LP variants, Trust elements).
  • Strategic development of our funnel architecture with various advertorial formats (user testimonials, veterinarian content, product comparison pages) and consistent CRO logic.
  • Close collaboration with Direct Response Copy, Funnel Managers, and CRO to quickly test performance hypotheses and improve iteratively.
  • Data-driven management based on CAC, LTV, ROAS, and funnel metrics.
  • Continuous market, competitor, and US research to identify and leverage performance impulses early, especially in the competitive subscription market.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Paid Search / Google Ads, with at least 3 years in the D2C sector, ideally in supplements, pet care, beauty, or cosmetics.
  • Deep technical understanding of Google Ads across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen / YouTube, and Competitor Campaigns, and how they interact.
  • Absolute tracking competence: Google Ads Conversion Tracking, GA4, and Google Tag Manager are not a black box; you ensure data accuracy before making decisions.
  • Account hygiene is crucial: you identify fragmentation, consistently consolidate, and have a feel for conversion volume at the campaign level.
  • Experience with subscription models and competitive, price-sensitive markets – you know how to profitably scale high-priced D2C products with clear subscription logic.
  • Funnel thinking over ad thinking: you don't just analyze numbers; you derive concrete hypotheses and tests from them – from keyword intent to LP performance.
  • Experience with Direct Response Funnels (including advertorials) and the strategic interplay of Paid Search and conversion architecture.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented work approach.
  • German (C2) & English fluent (C1).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with Microsoft Advertising.
  • TikTok Search Ads or other upper-funnel channels.
  • Knowledge in CRO or Landing Page Testing (e.g., A/B tests at the advertorial level).
