The Opportunity

We are seeking a Social Media Manager / Content Creator to tell our story on Instagram, TikTok, and beyond. This role requires equal strength in concept development and execution, with a keen sense for how great content is crafted through skill, timing, and community understanding.

Details: 40h/week, based in Berlin (Hybrid or Remote within Germany).
Tasks
- Develop and manage the editorial calendar across all social media channels, setting clear goals for reach, engagement, and brand perception.
- Independently produce and edit content, including video (Reels, TikToks, campaign clips), photos, and graphics.
- Proactively identify trends and adapt them relevantly to the mammaly brand context, ensuring authentic and meaningful integration.
- Actively build and nurture our community by engaging with comments, DMs, incorporating user-generated content (UGC), and fostering dialogue.
- Conceptualize and manage video campaigns with high engagement potential.
- Conduct interviews with our founding team and external guests to create authentic and engaging content.
- Prepare, edit, and manage our podcast, including speaker coordination and quality assurance.
- Regularly analyze content performance (reach, engagement rate, follower growth) to derive clear learnings and optimize the strategy based on data.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Social Media and Content Creation, ideally within a D2C, FMCG, or lifestyle environment. Alternatively, a completed degree or apprenticeship in media, communication, or marketing with relevant practical experience.
- Deep understanding of common platforms – not just as a user, but with knowledge of algorithms, formats, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in German (native or C2) and English (minimum B2).
- Independent, organized, and results-oriented work approach, combined with team spirit and communication enthusiasm.
- Proficient in using standard tools for video editing, image editing, and content planning.
- A big heart for dogs & lots of motivation.
- You own a dog that can accompany you in content production.
