Entertainment Travel Consultant (Remote)
BCD Australia is seeking an experienced Entertainment Consultant to join our Media & Entertainment division. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for individuals passionate about entertainment travel, working with major players in the Music, Advertising, TV, and Film industries. The role is remote, with a hybrid option available for candidates based in Sydney, NSW.
About the Role
As an Entertainment Travel Consultant, you will be instrumental in planning and selling a comprehensive range of travel services. You will provide expert consultation, manage complex itineraries, and ensure seamless travel experiences for our high-profile clients, upholding BCD standards at all times.
Responsibilities
- Plan and sell diverse travel services, including air and ground transport, and accommodation.
- Provide expert consultation and manage flight reservations, ticketing, and reissues.
- Service all client inquiries, requests, and bookings according to BCD standards.
- Handle post-booking queries, process changes, and manage reissues efficiently.
- Maintain composure and accuracy under pressure, demonstrating excellent attention to detail.
- Proactively anticipate and address potential client challenges.
- Confidently manage talent movements, ensuring privacy and accuracy.
- Handle large group movements and complex, multiple itineraries.
- Support team members across departments.
- Accurately apply travel supplier rules.
- Adhere to client and BCD Media & Entertainment policies and procedures for quality control.
- Perform other assigned duties.
About You
- Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, including policies, procedures, and processes.
- Proficiency with the GDS Sabre system.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness to be flexible with roster start and finish times as needed.
- Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment.
- Demonstrated professional customer service skills.
- Must possess full working rights in Australia.
