Data Analyst - Global Fulfillment

Nivoda is looking for a talented Data Analyst to join our Global Fulfillment Team. As the primary analytical partner for the Fulfillment Department, you will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain, logistics, and delivery operations for speed, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. This role is ideal for a SQL expert who enjoys uncovering data insights and utilizing modern AI tools to enhance efficiency.

About the Role

This role bridges the gap between complex logistical data and actionable business strategy. You will play a key part in monitoring fulfillment performance, identifying operational issues, and enabling the team to make faster, data-driven decisions.

What You'll Do

  • Operational Optimization: Analyze fulfillment workflows to pinpoint bottlenecks in the supply chain and propose data-backed solutions to enhance delivery speed, cost efficiency, and reliability.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards for key fulfillment KPIs (e.g., shipping costs, transit times, SLA adherence, hub performance), ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • SQL & Data Analysis: Independently write and manage complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large fulfillment datasets. Translate business questions into structured queries and ensure consistent KPI definitions.
  • Insights & Decision Support: Proactively identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within fulfillment data to generate clear, actionable insights and recommendations for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Operations, Logistics, Product, and Data teams to understand challenges, support decisions, and provide analytical input for strategic initiatives.
  • Data Modeling: Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure fulfillment data is clean, well-structured, and scalable within the data warehouse.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor data integrity across fulfillment systems, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key fulfillment KPIs, flag issues and anomalies, investigate root causes, and support continuous monitoring of courier performance and delivery speed.
  • Leverage AI Tools: Utilize AI tools to accelerate analysis, automate tasks, and draft written outputs, embracing AI-assisted work practices.

What You'll Need

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role.
  • Advanced SQL: Strong proficiency in writing complex, performant SQL queries, including joins, aggregations, and window functions.
  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to translate raw data into clear, business-influencing insights and recommendations.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to investigate ambiguous problems, identify root causes, and structure data-driven solutions.
  • Domain Interest: Interest in logistics, e-commerce, marketplaces, or supply chain operations.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience in a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment (Series B-D).
  • Background in supply chain and logistics.
  • Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
  • Exposure to data transformation tools (e.g., dbt) or structuring reusable data models.
  • Experience building dashboards in visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
