Job Description

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Project Delivery unit within AFRY's Industry Division. In this role, you will collaborate with Project Managers, Project Controllers, and Lead Engineers on various engineering and project management tasks within industrial engineering and EPCM projects. You will also actively participate in the project sales phase as a proposal manager and engage globally with clients and sub-contractors.

Your Typical Tasks Include:

• Engineering management across different phases of industrial engineering and EPCM projects.
• Active global collaboration within AFRY, as well as with clients and sub-contractors.
• Taking an active role in the project sales phase as a proposal manager.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A Degree in Engineering (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
• An understanding of project management and project execution methods.
• A minimum of 5 years of working experience in industry sectors such as civil engineering, metals and mining, or chemicals.
• Broad technical know-how and an understanding of interdisciplinary relationships.
• Fluency in English is essential; fluency in Finnish and other languages are considered assets.
• A can-do attitude, with excellent cooperation and communication skills.
