The Role: Data Analyst, Business Intelligence
Join our Business Intelligence team as a Data Analyst and play a crucial role in our ongoing digital transformation. You will be responsible for developing data pipelines, transforming and analyzing data, deriving actionable insights, and creating reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational decisions. Reporting to the Business Intelligence Manager, you will help drive efficiency and exceptional customer service through robust measurement and analytics, gaining a deep understanding of our unique business model and customer interactions.
What You'll Do:
- Collaborate within a small, dedicated Business Intelligence team within Operational Support.
- Interrogate data in Google BigQuery and develop data pipelines for analysis and reporting.
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Looker Studio.
- Ensure business alignment, drive adoption, and foster trust in data-driven insights.
- Curate trusted data models to enable self-service analytics.
- Manage report access and distribution.
- Implement best practices in data management.
- Serve as the primary source of information for our operations managers and team leaders.
What You Bring:
- Solid experience in SQL.
- Experience with Google BigQuery is preferable.
- Experience working with both relational and non-relational data sources.
- Proficiency in using Google Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio) or similar data visualization tools.
- Strong data visualization and data storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with data modeling concepts.
- Experience in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
- Knowledge of Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with fundamental statistical concepts.
- High attention to detail and diligence.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting data for a Contact Centre operational environment is a plus.
