Your Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition and Business Development:
- Building, maintaining, and strategically developing new and existing customer relationships.
- Identifying new business opportunities and implementing growth initiatives.
- Participating in presentations, trade fairs, and customer appointments.
Offer Creation and Order Processing:
- Reviewing customer inquiries for technical feasibility, including technical drawings.
- Creating economically viable offers and calculating prices for parts and assemblies.
- Ensuring profitable and efficient order processing.
Team Leadership and Process Development:
- Leading and developing the team (Sales and Work Preparation).
- Optimizing internal processes and implementing scalable solutions.
- Close collaboration with Production, Purchasing, Work Preparation, and Marketing.
Pipeline and Revenue Responsibility:
- Managing the sales and order pipeline with a focus on growth.
- Responsibility for revenue, quotation, and order intake targets.
- Actively shaping pricing, contract models, and strategic topics.
Your Profile
Must-have:
- Entrepreneurial thinking & hands-on mentality.
- Basic technical understanding (metal construction, sheet metal technology, or industrial environment).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Experience in sales or work preparation.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., NTS Apollo).
- Proactive, structured working style with a focus on growth and process optimization.
- German language skills at least C1 level.
Leadership Competence & Team Management:
- Initial experience in functional leadership or coordination of small teams, or clearly recognizable leadership potential.
- Ability to develop employees, prioritize tasks, and communicate decisions transparently.
- Structured, empathetic, yet assertive working style.
- Enjoyment in taking responsibility and actively shaping a team.
Nice-to-have:
- Technical apprenticeship in the sheet metal sector.
- Several years of experience in sheet metal processing or the sheet metal industry.
- CAD skills.
