About the Organization/Team
You will be joined to the Product Design Team at PayPay Bank. PayPay Bank’s services go beyond simply managing assets and savings; they are designed to support users at key moments in their lives, such as when making major purchases or managing retirement savings. Product designers deliver an optimal user experience at these crucial touchpoints in users’ lives, helping to improve their day-to-day lives. (Note: After joining the company, you are expected to be seconded to PayPay Bank as a member of the above project.)

Job Responsibilities
You will be creating, proofreading, and proposing user-friendly and easy-to-understand UX copy in Japanese for the UI across the App and Web service, working with designers, product managers, and engineers.
- Write micro copy for the PayPay Bank consumer app, mini-apps within the PayPay app, web services, LINE mini-apps, and PayPay Bank corporate apps/web services.
- Write microcopies based on research data.
Scope of Responsibilities
You will be responsible for writing Japanese microcopies that match our voice and tone.
- Write various types of microcopy used throughout the app.
- Propose the most suitable copy for users while respecting the writing guidelines, design, and development status.
- Conduct internal and external research and create copy based on data.

Required Experience/Skills
- UX or content writing experience in Japanese (3 years minimum).
Desired Experience/Skills
- Basic knowledge about websites and mobile apps (iOS/Android).
- Basic user flow and UI design knowledge.
- English proficiency sufficient for everyday conversation and reading and writing.

Working Conditions
- Employment Status: Full Time
- Office Location: Hybrid Workstyle (flexible working style including Remote and office). You will be expected to work both in the office and remotely, in alignment with organizational guidelines and team objectives.
- Work Hours: Super Flex Time (No Core Time). In principle, 9:00 am - 5:45 pm + 1h break (actual working hours: 7h 45m + 1h break).
- Holidays: Every Sat/Sun/National holidays (In Japan)/New Year’s break/Company-designated Special days.
- Paid leave: Annual leave (up to 14 days in the first year, granted proportionally according to the month of employment. Can be used from the date of hire), Personal leave (5 days each year, granted proportionally according to the month of employment).
Salary
- Annual salary paid in 12 installments (monthly).
- Based on skills, experience, and abilities.
